It’s hard to consistently adhere to a training program or a new way of life, especially if you’re a complete beginner.
That’s why my clients have a few rules to stick to. One of these is the ‘Two day’ rule.
The ‘Two day’ rule is simple:
Don’t miss your training sessions for more than two days straight.
If an emergency happens or something comes up, missing one workout isn’t the end of the world but in most circumstances (not all), if you miss more than two workouts, then not working out becomes a your new habit and there is a higher chance you will not show up for the third.
Consistency is the most important factor for getting in shape and staying in shape.
